“Greek Night”

In the evening after the sixth round of the World School Chess Championships, the organizers have presented the “Greek Night” by the pools of Hotel Sithonia.

After the warm-up with live band and Greek songs, a folklore group entered the stage and performed the traditional dances from various regions to the delight of about 200 people in attendance.

After several plays, the group invited the guests to join them in one big circle dance. The response was enthusiastic and half of the audience jumped to embrace the Greek sounds.

The party lasted for almost three hours and it was concluded around midnight as the kids had to get a good night’s sleep before the next round.

Before the Greek Night, the younger kids had their own party with the animation team in Sithonia Disco.
